| Subject: Lyris, daughter of Apollo! Fri May 06, 2011 6:27 pm | |
| Name: Lyris Evans
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Height: 5’8
Eye Color: Bright blue
Hair Color and Skin Color: Her hair is dirty blond, and naturally straight. It isn’t long, its cut in a short bob, a little past her chin. Her skin is tan, from spending so much of her time outside in the sun.
Mortal Parent: Ava Evans
God Parent: Apollo
Talents (normally): Is skilled with almost every instrument, creative, has a great singing voice, is able to memorize song lyrics easily, knows a lot about medicine and healing, she seems to be unable to be sunburned, she’s a great poet, a great creative writer, an amazing archer, and has a slight sixth sense about things that could possibly happen in the future.
Skills (what skills with weapons): Lyris is only good with bows and arrows. Any other weapon, she’s pretty average at using. But bows and arrows are her best weapon. She has great accuracy and hardly ever misses her target.
Powers (Optional; you don't have to have any): Lyris has the ability to heal medium-sized wounds, and any wounds smaller than that. For example, she can heal a pretty bad sword cut, but she can’t heal a sword cut that is horribly infected, or a cut that goes down to the bone. For cuts with infections, she can only heal a cut or an infection that is pretty recent, and not all that severe. She doesn’t have the ability to heal a horribly infected wound that has been on someone’s arm for more than a week. But she can possibly heal someone’s wound that is just a little bit infected, and is rather recent. She can only heal wounds 10 times a day, but she can heal wounds 5 times more if the sun is clearly out in the sky when she’s trying to heal but she’s already healed 10 times that day. But that doesn’t apply if its cloudy, or rainy, or the sun just isn’t clearly visible. Lyris’s energy drains depending on the size of the wound. (Big wound, she gets really tired. Small wound, she doesn’t get all that exhausted.) 12.Weapons: Her bows and arrows.
Pets: None
Country of Origin: U.S.A
Flaws(Three or more): Overly-hyper, impatient, ADHD, and ADD.
Life before Roman or Greek camp(5 sentences): Lyris’s mother, Ava, was a famous poet who caught Apollo’s eyes. Apollo fell in love with her at first sight, and so did Ava once she met him. They dated for a while, and eventually Ava gave birth to a baby girl with Apollo. Apollo told Ava to name the baby girl Lyris, because it was literally a Greek term for lyre, an instrument that was sacred to Apollo. After Ava brought Lyris home from the hospital, Apollo told Ava about his true identity, and because of this he couldn’t stay and help raise Lyris. Ava was heartbroken, and never got over Apollo. So Ava raised Lyris by herself. One day at school, Lyris’s history teacher turned into a fury in the middle of class, and tried killing Lyris. Lyris stabbed the teacher with a pencil and ran home and told her mother what happened. Ava then told Lyris she was a half blood, and then drove Lyris to camp, where Lyris stays every summer.
Role-Play Example (5 sentences): Lyris hummed a tune as she left her cabin. She began walking in the direction of the Archery Ranges. The lullaby her mother always used to sing her as a little girl was stuck in her head. Lyris needed a distraction to stop thinking about mom… She clutched her bow tighter in her right arm, and readjusted the strap of her quiver. She had reached the Archery Ranges. She swung open the doors and walked inside.
Just any Extra Notes About your Character: This is the same charrie that I have on another site. Just letting you know.
Gift From Godly Parent (Must be approved, and can be added at anytime, as long as you inform an admin. You can have ONE): Lyris’s father, Apollo, sent her a yellow iPod Nano. Lyris didn’t think much about it, until she switched it on. It had normal playlists (given to her by Apollo, some of them called: Ancient Greek classical music; Apollo’s favorite songs;) But there was one playlist, named ‘bows and arrows.’ If Lyris clicks on that playlist, the iPod transforms from a normal iPod, to a bright yellow bow (same color as the iPod) and a quiver full of celestial bronze arrows. (Also, once she runs out of arrows, her iPod appears in the quiver, and she can press the refresh button to get more arrows instantly) There’s also another playlist called ‘shield’ which makes the iPod transform into a shield. | |
